Amber Ryan developed a love for the performing arts at an early age and believes magic happens in the theater. She has worked on Theater, TV, Film, Industrial and both local and national Commercial projects.
For the past 8 years Amber has worked with kids ages 3-18 developing and teaching acting techniques. Classes she has developed include: “Play Production A-Z”, “Storybook Theater”, “Kiddie Improve” and “Youth Performing Arts”. She is thrilled to now be collaborating with Garth Williams to develop and teach “Commercial Audition – Kids Edition”. Amber has also directed several youth theater productions. Her directing credits include: Hairspray Jr, The Grant Project, Big Bad and Teen Angel to name a few.
One of her biggest accomplishments has been to create an after-school acting program at a local charter school which she has run for the past 5 years. This program has given many students the opportunity to attend the Arizona Thespian and Jr Thespian Festivals where they have been recognized for their outstanding performances.
“Working with young actors is a true passion,” says Amber. “I love seeing them grow in their acting techniques, but more importantly, I love seeing them grow in their self-confidence. They are building qualities that will benefit them in every aspect of their lives! That is where the true magic happens.”
