GWC had a fantastic Audition Performance Workshop on Saturday, August 21st in our new studio at 124 W. McDowell Rd. Phoenix, AZ. It was a casting directors’ dream class. We coached seasoned professional actors as well as helped some brand new actors jump into the talent pool in the Southwest.
Actors in actions:
The actors honed their skills for 6 hours performing a wide variety of commercial spots. The students received a DVD of their performances so they can continue to improve their skills and reinforce what they gleaned in the workshop. Each actor received personalized feedback from the casting directors which focused on the individuals’ strengths and opportunities to elevate their game. Professional actors continuously look for ways to keep their talents sharp by participating in workshops, plays, improvisations and student films, etc.
Actors Workout!
Look for a new opportunity on Tuesday evenings, beginning September 21st, for an intensive 2 hour Actors Workout. You will be exercising your acting muscles by woking on monologues, films scripts and improvisations. This on-going program was designed to keep you artistically fit and to help you perform your best by “being in the moment.” More details coming soon!
